Union County Patriot Band

Hello all!

I am on here for the first time in a while and I am in the process of getting things more up to date.  Check back as I make things more modern looking.  Also the calendar is up to date for the remainder of the year.  Please check it!

Greetings!

This Saturday the band will be travelling to Alco High School to compete in their annual marching competition.  The members of the band will need to report to the school at 10am for us to have a final rehearsal and then load and leave.  We will depart UCHS at 11:15 so that we can allow for enough time for travel and to get unloaded and dressed once we get there.  Our warmup time is 1:15 and our performance time is 2:00.  Upon completing our show we will remain at Alcoa to watch other bands' performances and to receive our awards.  Hopefully we will return no later than 10pm. 

Please come out and support our band as we perform our halftime show Viva Espana for the final time.

Greetings from UCHS!

It is hard to believe that this marching band season has nearly drawn to a close.  We have made some great strides this year and only look to continue to do that into concert season.  As this week's game marks the end of the marching season it also marks the end of the careers of our seniors as this will be their last home game.  We will be honoring our seniors both before the game and afterwards in the band room.  Please come out and support our band as we wrap up one portion of our year and enter into another.

Hello All!

This Saturday the band will be travelling to Jefferson County High School to participate in the annual Patriot Preview Marching Contest.  We will be meeting at the high school at NOON so that we can run the show once and then begin loading buses and trailer to leave at 1:15.  Our performance time is at 4pm with an awards ceremony to be held at 7p.  We should not be returning home any later than 9-9:30 that night. 

Please come out and support our kids as they have worked very hard to get to this point and I know that your support would be very appreciated.

Congtatulations are in order for a wonderful first performance this past Friday night.  I am extremely proud of every one of you and I cannot wait to see the show again this coming week.  I am very thankful for all of you and I cannot believe how blessed I am to be your band director.

Hey folks!

I am glad that some of you have already dropped in to check out the new website.  I know that there is not a lot of info up yet but give me time and there will be.  Please take the time to look at the calendar as it is updated now through the end of football season.  Also there is one date, in December, that I have already signed us up for. 

I wan to thank all of you for your hard work over the last two weeks and I feel that we are off to a great start so far.  However just because we had a great camp does not mean that the hard work is now over.  We must continue to strive to be the best that we can be and continually try and improve.  You all are going to make this a year to remember and I am proud to be your band director.
